Travel to Kazakhstan: Tour 4

Day 1: Almaty - Issyk Lake - Almaty  
We are glad to see you in Kazakhstan. Driver will pick you up and accompany to Issyk gorge. This breathtaking gorge can be found along the Kuldja tract. Here many years ago trading caravan travelled. In course of the tour you will have a break at the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "ISSYK" that has expositions of the history and culture of the Saka period, such as a copy of Golden Man and golden items, ancient ceramics, weapon, elements of horse equipment, as well as the model of Saka burial mound. After it you will head on to the elevation of 1756 meters above sea level where the famous for its beauty alpine lake Issyk can be seen. You will be surprised to learn that this prominent sight was formed 10,000 years ago due to colossal landslide and the natural dam of 300 meters in height. The lake will mesmerize you by its fabulous beauty while you are going to listen to the details of the natural disaster of 1963. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery in tours to Kazakhstan. Transfer to the hotel for overnight.

Day 2: Almaty - Altyn Emel
The day is dedicated to explore the Altyn Emel National Park that is famous for the Singing Dune. In course of the tour you will be surprised by sight that reaches 120 meters and a length of about 3 km and is located in one of the corners of the Altyn-Emel National Park. Tours to this place are very popular the reason or it is the pure sand, which starts to "sing" in windy weather and its sound reminds the organ music. The top of it will bewitch you by the grand panorama of the surroundings like in the south - thin strip of the Ili River can be seen and purple mountains of Sogety and Boguty, looking out from the white peaks of the Ketmen ridge. Day 3: Altyn Emel
In course of the your you will drive to Katutau and Aktau mountains. Where you will enjoy the breathtaking nature. During the travel you will explore Katutau Mountains (Harsh Mountains). These are ancient ruined mountains that still have volcanic outputs. The rocks of the mountain are very fragile and can break down under the physical impact. The shapes of the rocks were made by water, time and wind. Sedimentary rock of the bottom of the ancient Tethys Ocean is preserved there that due environmental factors it took the form of intricate figures and landscapes. Aktau Mountains or White Mountains are famous for being known as the world-renowned paleontological field. You will be impressed by the possibility to find the remains of ancient animals the age of which are about 25-30 million years. It is possible to find the remains the giant rhinos, crocodiles, turtles. You will be impressed by the mountains that resemble the Egyptian pyramids with its huge amount of shapes and colors. Return to Altyn Emel hotel. Night is in the hotel.

Day 4: Altyn Emel - Charyn - Almaty
Morning drive to Ash-tree Grove on the Temerlik River. You will be impressed by the fabulous scenery of this ancient sight tours to which are very popular. Here you will see a unique place, where relict species of Sogdian Ash-tree are growing. After it you will be transferred to Charyn Canyon that is known as the "Castles Valley". Upon arrival you will see the breathtaking panorama view. Then you will head on to the bottom of this unique side that will captivate you by its bizarre shapes of the "Castles Valley". It was formed during Paleogene and has some resemble of the Grand Canyon of Colorado River in North America but much smaller in term of size. Here you will be impressed by the shape that the mature made. Transfer to Almaty and overnight at hotel.
