Travel to Tajikistan: Tour 2

Day 1: Dushanbe
Our team is glad to provide a tour in Tajikistan. Upon arrival the guide with a driver will meet you in the airport who accompany to Dushanbe. The first day of a tour will start by visiting Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal as well as House of parliament. The next destination is driving 35 km to visit Hisor fortress. It was found in the VII - XVII centuries. It has encouraged zones and fort. In past times it was the castle of the representative of the Emir of Bukhara and located on a high hill. Also, it had walks of 1 m thick. In Hissor, everyone will get acquainted with restored monuments of "Madrasa I Kuhna" (16th-17th centuries), mosque, the mausoleum of "Mahdumi Azam" (16th century). Visit Botanical garden and Victory Park. Rest is in a hotel.

Day 2: Dushanbe - Seven lakes
Guest will drive to the Fannsky Gory (Fann Mountains) over Anzob pass of 3 372 m with astonishing panorama views where a lot of hiking areas. Afterwards you will have a trip of visiting the Seven Lakes (Marquzor Lakes). It is about 60 km south of Penjakent with short hiking. There road will go among 7 lakes situated on dissimilar altitudes and colors. On the way you will meet locals and exchange culture and traditions. Night is in a hotel.

Day 3: Seven lakes - Penjakent
We are happy to present the next day of visiting Penjakent via pass Shahriston of 3 378 m. The city of Penjakent or "five villages" is located in Khujand area of Tajikistan in a lovely Zeravshan river valley. Generally, five villages started the history of this striking city which is originated in the 5^th -8^th centuries AD. It was one of the most important cultural and crafts centers of Sogd - "Central Asian Pompeii" with two temples, markets, rich dwelling houses ornamented with numerous paintings, wooden and clay statues of ancient gods and others ruins that were found only in the last century. Then we will see remnants of dwelling houses and office buildings, the citadel with the palace, the house of craftsmen, and fire worshipers' church. Overnight is in a hotel.

Day 4: Penjakent - Dushanbe
The last day of the stunning tour will start by driving to Dushanbe. This wonderful city is situated at the confluence of two rivers - Varzob and Kofarnihon. Dushanbe is the capital of Tajikistan where its remains found in the 5^th century BC. Locals say that Dushanbe was more than a small village until the early 20th century. There was a big bazaar succeeded on Mondays and called Dushanbe-Bazar (Monday) or the second day after Saturday. Transfer to a hotel for sleep.
