Day 1: Almaty - Shymkent
Welcome to Kazakhstan! Upon arrival the guide will meet and transfer to Shymkent. The road from Almaty to Shymkent will take about 4 hours. This incredible city is found on the crossroads of the Great Silk Road and located with the most ancient cities of the Middle Ages - Otar, Turkestan, Syganak, Sauran etc. generally, Shymkent is defined to be ancient and social center in the south of Kazakhstan with many motivating places for tourism. Being there you can visit unforgettable places as the Alley of memory in the park named after Kaldayakov, the monument "Jer An", Ordabasy Square "20 Years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan Park", Museum of Victims of Political Repressions, Obelisk of Glory, Walk of Fame, Eternal Flame for the Fallen in World War II, Arboretum as well as the museum of local tradition. Night is in a hotel.

Day 2: Shymkent - Turkestan - Shymkent
In the morning is a day trip to Turkestan built around 500 AD in the crossroad of caravans from Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva to northern Kazakhstan. In past times it was the capital of the Kazakh Khanate. Because of the eminent Sufi sheikh and philosopher Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, this city increased imposing standing. See the mausoleum of the 1166. This mausoleum was built by the order of Emir Temirlan and today it is one of the main places of devotion for Muslims. The mosque was built after Tamerlane's dream where the sacred said to place a mausoleum over the grave of Arystan Bab. Nowadays pilgrims visit the mausoleum of Arystan Bab, and then Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi. It is a small Hajj to Mecca. In Turkestan you will visit "Azret Sultan" architectural complex, Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, Turkestan ancient settlement, Necropolis, a piece of the fortress wall, Citadel with gates, Hammam, Hilvet dissident mosque. Night is in a hotel.

Day 3: Shymkent - Almaty
In the morning is transfer to Almaty. Learn more about the history and growth of the Southern capital of Kazakhstan. Then we will visit the famous Green Bazaar with a lot of colorful and fresh goods. The tour continues visiting the oldest part of the city as Panfilov Park, Zenkov Cathedral that is reflected to be one of the most wonderful wooden buildings. We will visit the Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame, in reminiscence of the warriors who perished for freedom of the country. We will visit most remaining places and drive to the Medeo gorge. This gorge is famous to the highest mountain skating rink in the world and the dam, protective the city from hazardous mudflows. Then we will drive to the tallest TV tower in the world is located as Kok Tobe hill. In Kok Tobe Park you can walk the twisting road of the park, adore the attractive view of the city from the observation deck and visit the shop of national souvenirs. Then we will see the city center by using prominent Almaty cableway. Rest is in a hotel.

Day 4: Almaty - Issyk Lake - Almaty
The tour will start by driving via the one of most remaining gorges Trans Ili Alatau - Issyk Gorge. Driving via the Kuldja tract, you will be told many interesting facs about the trade caravans went. Get to know more about nature and see the burial mounds of Sakas period. There was found famous "Golden Man". Nowadays it is a symbol of Kazakhstan. We will have a trip to the State Historical and Cultural Museum Reserve "ISSYK" made in honor to the history of the Sakas period, comprising a copy of Golden Man and golden items, ancient ceramics, weapon, elements of horse equipment, as well as the model of Sakas burial mound. In the afternoon we will continue our drive to Issyk Lake. It is amazing alpine lake that is located on the altitude of 1 756 meters above sea level. The lake was formed due to mudslide 10 000 years ago. It has dam of 300 meters in height. Take a deep breath and enjoy the beautiful panorama views. Transfer to a hotel for rest.
