Travel to Kyrgyzstan: Tour 5
Day 1: Bishkek - Belogorka gorge - Bishkek
Upon arrival to airport you will meet driver who accompany you to Bishkek. In course of the tour you will visit the most outstanding sights like Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala-Too Square, Old Square, National Philharmonic, and many others. After it you will head on to the famous Belogorka gorge to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of rocky mountain and scenery. During the travel you will have short hiking tour to reach a waterfall. Do not miss the chance to take photos. On the way back you will be mesmerized by the striking view of scenery. Drive back to Bishkek. Night is in a hotel.
Day 2: Bishkek - Burana - Kochkor
The day will start with visiting the famous Asian Bazaar where you can find many useful and tasty things. Here you can take photos of bustling local life. After it you will be transferred to Kochkor village. On the way you will have an excursion at Burana Tower. It is a minaret dating from the 11th century. On the top of it you can enjoy the view same that people had seen many years ago. Burana Tower served as a sign along the Great Silk Road to let travelers know there was a city and place to have a rest. Here you will also see an open air museum of Balbals (stone warriors), which were made in honor for those who died for their Motherland. After your excursion there is a scenic transfer to Kochkor. Night is in a homestay.
Day 3: Kochkor - Son Kul Lake
The second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan that is known as the Son Kul Lake is your destination for today. The lake will mesmerize you by its picturesque view and celestial mountains on the altitude of 3013 meters above sea level. People of Kyrgyzstan like to come here with their family for rest and immerse in the atmosphere of calmness while herders use this area as a pastureland. Upon arrival you will have free time to explore the virgin nature of the lake and its surroundings. The night you will spend in the yurts that are made of wooden skeleton and felt coverings
Day 4: Son Kul - Tash Rabat
In course of the tour you will be transferred to the Tash Rabat Caravanserai. It is thee unique sight that can be found on the Great Silk Road at the very heart of Tian Shan Mountains. It is Stone Castle from the 14th century, which was built of stone blocks inside a mountain at an elevation of 3200 m above sea level. You will see 31 rooms in the mountain with walls 1 m thick. There are also underground prison cells that were built to imprison thieves. Night will be spent in yurts near Tash Rabat Caravanserai.
Day 5: Tash Rabat - Bishkek
Today you will return to Kochkor village. Upon arrival you will meet locals that will teach you the method of producing our national felt carpets. You even can create your own carpet together with them. During tours here tourist will also visit the small handicraft museum to enjoy examples of silver decorations, coats made of wool, horse saddle decorations, carpets and many other things. Then you will be transferred to Bishkek. Night is in a hotel.
Day 6: Airport
In the morning is transfer to airport.
