Day 1: Dushanbe
You will be met and transferred to Dushanbe. In course of the tour you will see the most significant sights of the capital of Tajikistan like Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. You will go to see the National park here you can take a lot of photos of Ministry of Inner Affairs and National Flag. It is known as the biggest flag in the world - 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. Then you will have an excursion in Central Museum and Gurminj Museum of traditional musical instruments. Furthermore you will see Asian bazar where the colorful goods, fruits and vegetables can be seen. The day is dedicated for exploring the main highlights of Dushanbe and interesting facts about Tajik people. Night is in a hotel.
Day 2: Dushanbe - Iskanderkul Lake
In course of the tour you will travel to the famous alpine lake, Iskanderkul. This prominent sight is located on the elevation of 2 255 m. a. s. l. in the famous Fann Mountains. You will be impressed to know that this area is considered to be as one the best places of Central Asia. The road to the lake goes over Anzob pass (3 372 m) with amazing panorama views. Upon arrival you will walk along it beaches and the hike to a waterfall (40 min). You will be impressed to know that Tajikistan takes the second place among the CIS countries for volume of water resources. Furthermore it is known for the highest water reserves of all Central Asian countries with more than 1 000 rivers, 2 000 lakes and 8000 glaciers. Night is in a homestay.
Day 3: Iskanderkul Lake
The day is dedicated for hiking tour at this Fann Mountains which has another ancient name "Kuhistan". This name translates as "Mountainous Country" from Farsi. In Fanns, on rather small territory there are more than 30 pure and variegated lakes of different size and shape. During the tour you will see a lot of people here because this place is one of the most popular destinations in tours and weekend spot with locals. Enjoy trekking and climbing during the tour. You will be mesmerized by the flora, fauna and wonderful views. Your night will be spent in a homestay.
Day 4: Iskanderkul Lake - Dushanbe - Hissor
In course of the tour you will travel to Dushanbe. While driving to this city you will have a break visa the Anzob pass (3 372 m) and tunnel of Isticlol. During the travel you will be able to witness the mountain passes while taking a lot of breathtaking photos of this views. Later on you will explore the sight tours to which are very popular the Hissor fortress (VII-XVII centuries). You can find this prominent sight at 35 km from Dushanbe. This historical site has fortified areas and citadel. The fortress used to be the residence of the delegate of the Emir of Bukhara; it was located on a high hill and was well defended with 1 m thick walls and loopholes for guns and cannons. Inside there was a pool and a garden and across from the fortress there was a busy market square with a caravanserai and shops. Apart from the entrance gate with its two imposing towers, not much has survived of the fortress. Other interesting sites in Hisar include: the recently restored monuments of "Madrasa I Kuhna" (new school of 16th-17th centuries), mosque; the mausoleum of "Mahdumi Azam" (16th century). Night is in a hotel.
