Day 1: Dushanbe
You will be met and transferred to Dushanbe where your city tour starts. You will visit Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. After it we will walk in National park to make photos of Ministry of Inner Affairs and the biggest National Flag in the world - 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. After it is excursion in Central Museum and Gurminj Museum of traditional musical instruments. You will understand Tajik people more if you visit Asian bazar. Here you will enjoy many colorful or tasty goods. You will see the main sight of the city and learn many interesting facts about Tajik people. Night is in a hotel
Day 2: Dushanbe - Norak - Kalai Khum
Kalai Khum village is your destination for today. In course of the tour you will enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Norak water reservoir or Tajik Sea. The road will go through the Shuraba pass (2 267 m) and along Afghanistan border. You will be mesmerized by the bewitching view of famous Pamir Mountains. These mountains are known for great impact for the world's greatest explorers like Marco Polo, Hsuan Tsang, Mirza Muhammad Haidar. And now you also have a chance to travel here. The tour will lead you along natural border - Pyanj River. Many travellers who saw these great mountains called this giant mountain system the ocean of white and blue mountains. Overnight is in home stay.
Day 3: Kalai Khum - Khorog
Morning transfer to Khorog that is considered to be one the smallest cities on the worlds map. This city is surrounded by rocky mountains. During the travel you will know that town was built in the merge of the 3 rivers where Shokhdara river and Ghund river flow into Pyanj river. On the way to the city you will meet Pamir people. Pamir people look a little bit different from Tajik. Among Pamir people there are a lot of those who have blonde hair, fair skin and blue eyes. It is known that Pamirs Mountains are the second highest mountains in the world with human population after the Himalayas in Tibet. Life in the mountains made traditions of local people different from Tajik people. Night is in a guesthouse.
Day 4: Khorog
Today the entire day is dedicated to a guided city tour. First of all we will visit the Botanical Garden. The city is surrounded by many gardens. Over the east part of the city at an altitude of 2320m above sea level on the coastal zone of the Shakhdara River is situated the renowned Pamir Botanical Garden with unique plants, brought from different parts of the world. Work is underway on acclimatization of plants in mountain conditions. Then we will visit city park and handicraft shop, museum. To feel real life you should visit local bazar. We will see today the main highlights of Khorog and you will find out many interesting facts about Pamirian people.
Day 5: Khorog - Kalai Khum
Today you will return to Kalai Khum by driving on the dame road that you had before. The road is going through the mountains that are over 6 000 meters due to which it possible to built only 1 road. During the way you will have an opportunity to enjoy the fabulous beauty of nature and listen to history. On the way we will stop in small villages to communicate with local people and to see their life. You will visit the human settlements which are located on both sides of the river in narrow mountain valleys. Furthermore on the other side you will see Afgan stony villages and gardens. Night is in a home stay.
Day 6: Kalai Khum - Khoburubot - Dushanbe
In the morning transfer to Dushanbe. The road will go through the mountain road and Khoburubot Pass (3 252) known as Western Pamir Tract. You will enjoy the great beauty of river valley and bewitching gorges. Here you can take a lot of photos to capture breathtaking view. On the way you will see small villages and meet local people. Tours to the country show that Tajik people are hard working, hospitable, and kind-hearted who also respects its traditions and folklore. Travel to Tajikistan is great option for those who love the beauty of wild nature. Night is in a hotel.
Day 7: Dushanbe - Khujand
Today you will drive to Khujand city via Anzob pass the altitude of which is 3 372 m with amazing panorama views. During the travel you will find out that Khujand is the second largest city of Tajikistan with population 149,000 people. You will find it on the Syr Darya River at the mouth of the Fergana Valley. It is also the capital of the northernmost province of Tajikistan, now called Sughd. During the city tour you will visit the most significant sight like Cultural Palace of Khujant where the first president of Tajikistan was chosen, Central Mosque that is situated in the middle of the city. Night is in a hotel.
Day 8: Flight
In the morning is transfer to the airport.
