Travel to Uzbekistan: Tour 5

Day 1: Tashkent
Welcome to Uzbekistan. Today we will start our tour from visiting Independence square, walk along the local Broadway and see the eminent Tashkent metro. It is the most attractive subways in the world opened in 1977. Afterwards we will visit the old part of the city which comprises: Chorsu Bazaar, Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam complex. The site has few madrasahs, mosques and mausoleum. The next destination is Othman Quran which is the world's oldest Quran copy found in the 8^th century. Quran was the part of Othman Ibn Affan who was the Third Caliph, but killed by non-muslims in 8^th century. His blood is seen in the Quran pages. Overnight is in a hotel.

Day 2: Tashkent - Termez
In the morning is flight to Termez. It is one of the prehistoric cities of Central Asia, progressed through the history on dissimilar places about the modern city, reproducing multiple cultural layers portrayed in remnants of historical sites. The national inheritance that was industrialized from the commencement of the city was totally demolished by Genghis Khan in 1220. Then the city was created to the east of the old town. Sightseeing tour where you can find out archeological museum, Fayaztepa, Mausoleum of Hakim at Termezi, Buddhist Stupa Zurmala, Mausoleum Sultan Saodat, Honako Kokaldor Ota, Nunnery Kirk Kiz, Jarkurgan's Minaret, Dalverzintepa archeological dig. Afterwards is transfer to a hotel.

Day 3: Termez - Shahrisabs - Samarkand
Having a hearty breakfast, we will drive to the hometown of Amir Timur or the town of Shahrisabs. Upon arrival enjoy visiting a palace with the unique beauty, called Ak Saray Palace, assembled by Amir Timur. On the main portal of the Palace you can see a note: "If you wish get to know about our authority, have a look at our buildings". Afterwards see Jahongir mausoleum, devoted to the eldest son of Amir Timur, who expired in fight when he was twenty years old. When his son died, the leader has grieved for 30 years. In the end of day, we will see Shahrisabs, the Dorus Siadat and Dorus Tillavat commemorative complexes where all offspring and relatives of Amir Timur were buried. Drive to Samarkand. Overnight is in a hotel.

Day 4: Samarkand
We are glad to impress everyone by wonderful Samarkand city situated in the valley of the river Zerafshan. It is the second largest city of Uzbekistan. Today we will visit sights such as Registan square, Shakhi Zindeh, Mausoleum Guri Emir and Bibi Khanum Mosque. Registan Square is one of the most visited places among foreign guests with three charming madrasahs belonging to the 15-17^th centuries. Taking into consideration Shakhi Zindeh, it signifies a giant collection of mausoleums of the 11^th-15 centuries. It is also a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bibi Khanum Mosque is another site must be visited on your tour. It was built in honor of beloved Tamerlane's wife, after his fruitful movement in India. Overnight is in a hotel.

Day 5: Samarkand - Tashkent
Guests will continue to explore Samarkand city. Visit Ulughbek observatory, erected in 15th century by Ulughbek who was one of the most well-known Samarkand rulers. In 1437 he created the "Zidji Guragoni" catalog with data about 1018 spiritual bodies. After some time, he was killed by order of his own son. The tour continues walking along the local Broadway enclosed by souvenir shops, teahouses, sweets and workshops. See national bazaar Siab (oriental bazaar), and find Uzbek traditional handmade products and local sweets. In the afternoon is transfer to Tashkent by train. Night is in a hotel.

Day 6: Tashkent - Flight
Transfer to airport. Have a safe landing!
